Jowena has a rich bicultural experience having grown up in the United States for over ten years before moving back to Singapore permanently in 2014 to complete her studies.

Her passion in psychology started in her teen years and she pursued her interest throughout university.


Since her graduation, Jowena has been working as a Lead Behavioral Therapist at Autism Partnership and has over four years of experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis. She also has prior experience interning at Winslow Clinic at Novena Medical Centre and Scotts Psychological Centre for ADHD and Developmental Trauma. In-between her internships she volunteered at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH). 

Jowena is currently taking a Masters of Counselling program at the Singapore University of Social Science. On her off days she likes to explore new places to eat and going on hikes or walking through trails. She also enjoys playing the piano, creative writing, photography and recently picked up long boarding.
