Kit has extensive experience counselling a range of individuals, from children as young as seven-years-old to older adults. She has worked as a primary and secondary school counsellor, gerontology counsellor, addiction counsellor and community counsellor. Her personal experience as a mother and grandmother also helps her relate to the wide range of ages.

Kit also holds extensive experience as a therapist and a job coach for special needs children, youth and adults. She integrates counselling with psychoeducational work to help her clients with special needs improve and cope with their state of difficulties. Kit also counsels the parents and families of special needs children.

Besides counselling, Kit is an experienced speaker and trainer. She has held talks for professionals and caregivers working with special needs individuals and working with seniors. 

Before entering counselling and psychology training, Kit was a trained nurse. Her experience working with public and private hospitals deepened her understanding of working with multicultural ethnicity.
