Thomas Tsang
Clinical Counsellor

P. Clinical Member

Masters of Arts in Counselling

(TCA College)

Thomas's keen interest in counselling started during his long tenure in management. He supported his peers and staff in dealing with personal and work-related issues. Several years ago, when his wife was diagnosed with a lifelong illness, Thomas decided to retire early from senior management and pursued his passion in professional counselling.

During his academic study, Thomas lost one of his adult sons. Struggling to deal with this traumatic incident, Thomas learned and healed through many individual and group therapies with the help of a professional suicide prevention organization. Thomas later serves as an active volunteer advocate for suicide prevention and as one of the key facilitators for support group work for suicide survivors.

With his personal experience in dealing with and healing through trauma, Thomas provides counselling with deep conviction and compassion for various issues, including addictions, anxiety, life transitions, and career coaching.

As a father and a caregiver, Thomas is also passionate about helping other caregivers and parents build better relationships with their loved ones and family.
