Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy and counselling
Trauma is an emotional response to a terrible event such as an accident, abused, repeated terrifying events or natural disaster. Trauma survivors often experience shock and denial after the traumatic event. Subsequent reactions may include unpredictable emotions, flashbacks, strained relationships and even physical symptoms like headaches or nausea.
While some trauma survivors subsequently recover, some may benefit from the help of professional counsellors or psychotherapist.
