Fiona brings a rich multidisciplinary background to her clinical practice. Prior to her transition into mental health, she worked as a creative director and business strategist across the healthcare, F&B, and FMCG sectors. Her professional experience, coupled with living abroad and raising a bicultural family, has given her a deep appreciation of cultural nuances and the complexities of identity, transition, and belonging.

Fiona works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life's challenges, transitions, and relationships. She supports individuals exploring questions of identity, self-worth, and belonging, as well as those experiencing anxiety, grief, and loss. She also works with neurodivergent individuals to develop greater self-understanding and practical ways of navigating challenges. Fiona collaborates with clients to explore patterns contributing to distress, deepen awareness, and build greater flexibility in responding to life's challenges.

Fiona's practice is grounded in Gestalt therapy, a relational and experiential approach that views people within the context of their relationships, experiences, and environment. She also integrates elements of ACT, DBT, and narrative therapy. Her work is informed by ongoing learning in neuroscience, attachment, and emotional development, reflecting her commitment to integrating research with therapeutic practice. Alongside reflective conversation, Fiona incorporates therapeutic experiments and creative approaches that invite clients to engage more fully with their experiences. This may include creative expression, Lego, sandtray, play, imagery, and movement. She tailors her approach to each client's needs, helping them strengthen self-awareness, build confidence, and translate insight into meaningful change.

Fiona has a special interest in working with children, young people, and families. As an accredited Tuning in to Kids® facilitator, she supports parents and caregivers in strengthening emotional connection and fostering healthy family relationships. She has also presented parenting talks and workshops through community and grassroots platforms.

Outside of therapy, Fiona enjoys spending time with her children and maintains an active lifestyle through boxing and Hyrox training. She also serves as an active grassroots leader within her local community.
