Abigail's experience includes serving in Family Service Centre, Community Mental Health and Hospice. She holds a deep desire to help her clients achieve their goals and finds joy in journeying with them through their rough times to get a breakthrough. She believes in the importance of caring for individuals' mental and emotional health and trusts that every person can overcome stormy periods of their life through guided help and professional skills. She forms a secure base for her clients to overcome the challenges faced and build resilience to pursue their dreams and goals.
Abigail's counselling experiences cover marital/relationship issues, parenting, family violence issues, mental health issues, grief and loss issues (death and non-death related), and crisis interventions. She provides psychosocial intervention and counselling through integrating attachment theory in the different therapeutic approaches.
Before Abigail embarked on her counselling career, she held a diverse corporate portfolio and volunteering experiences to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Abigail is competent to counsel in English and Mandarin.
