Abigail is a compassionate counsellor and psychotherapist with experience from the family services, community mental health services, eldercare services and palliative care settings. Driven by a deep commitment to client well-being, she empowers individuals to navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and personal growth journeys. Her approach is centered on fostering resilience and helping clients achieve meaningful breakthroughs and goals. She deeply desires to help her clients achieve their goals and finds joy in journeying through rough times for a breakthrough. She believes in the importance of caring for an individual's mental and emotional health and trusts that every person can overcome stormy periods of their life with guided help and support from her professional skills. She adopts the concept of becoming a secure base for her clients, helping them overcome challenges and build resilience to pursue their dreams and goals.
Abigail is passionate about the transformative power of mental and emotional health care, believing that everyone has the capacity to overcome life’s adversities. She creates a safe, supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges and work toward their aspirations with clarity and purpose.
Abigail draws from a wide range of therapeutic frameworks and approaches in crafting her therapy intervention for her clients. She specializes in marital and couple relationship issues, mental health challenges, grief and loss issues, as well as complex trauma. Abigail advocates for work-life balance and enjoys taking overseas trips to hike and engage in water sports, such as jet skiing, as part of her self-care practice.
Abigail provides clinical supervision for intern counsellors and counsellors pursuing registration for SAC.
