Tuning in to Kids Accredited Facilitator

(The University of Melbourne)

Fiona brings a rich, multidisciplinary background to her counselling practice, informed by years of experience as a creative director and business strategist. She has been involved in launching ventures across the healthcare, F&B, and FMCG sectors, equipping her with adaptability and insight into diverse life paths and pressures.

Having lived abroad for much of her life, Fiona is attuned to cultural nuances and the complexities of identity, transition, and belonging. As a mother raising children in a British-Singaporean household, she understands the emotional terrain of parenthood, relocation, and re-entering the workforce. These experiences shape her commitment to meeting clients where they are, helping them move at a sustainable pace while building trust and recognising inner strengths.

Fiona’s counselling approach draws from choice theory, humanistic methods, and narrative therapy—supporting clients to make meaning, reclaim agency, and reauthor their life stories. She is also an accredited facilitator of the evidence-based Tuning in to Kids® programme, which teaches parents emotion coaching to strengthen connection and resilience. Currently, she is expanding her skillset in Play Therapy and Gestalt Play Therapy to deepen her work with children and families.

Fiona is passionate about making mental health support accessible and grounded in a balanced Asian perspective. She offers a safe, respectful space for clients to reflect, heal, and grow—whatever their story may be.
