Growing up in a family with multiple challenges motivated Geraldine’s interest to become a counsellor. She went to Japan to study psychology.
While staying in Japan, Geraldine interact with people of diverse interculture and nationalities. However, she decided to put
her interest aside to focus on family life, and pursue her interest in becoming a counsellor by taking up Masters of Arts in Counselling when her children are older.
Married with 2 young adults children, She understood that communication plays an integral part in the parent-child relationship. She is passionate in helping families to build healthy communication skills which lead to better relationship among the family members.
Geraldine has also counselled people for trauma 101, relationship issues, faith challenges, anxiety and stresses. She is passionate about journeying with individuals and couples to build healthy relationships and meaning and purpose to their life. Having survived a very painful and near death medical challenges, Geraldine is also keen to help people with medical related grief.
Outside counselling, Geraldine enjoys time with her families, brisk walking in the park and watching a movie during her free time.
