Born in China, Lisa moved to Singapore in her adulthood. For the past seven years, Lisa has worked with various people, including couples, adolescents, young adults, children and their parents. Her approach to counselling is client-centred, collaborative, and evidence-based. She believes in providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while processing their wounds and equipping them with the skills needed to improve their mental health and emotional well-being.
She has provided treatment for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction while helping clients build their identity, self-esteem, and relationships with others. Lisa helps families to reconnect and provide a safe harbour for their children to nourished and flourish. She is passionate about serving people to heal from their traumatic past experiences and live abundant lives.
In addition to counselling, Lisa conducts workshops on mental health, marriage and family, parenting, and self-development in Mandarin and English. She also teaches counselling subjects. Prior to her career transition, Lisa worked as a translator and interpreter.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys singing, cycling, walking in nature, meeting friends and playing with her child.
