Michelle is a compassionate therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through life's challenges. She has worked across a variety of settings, including social services, community mental health, hospital, school, and private practice, supporting clients navigating a broad spectrum of concerns — including life transitions, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
Michelle approaches therapy through a trauma-informed and grief-informed lens, recognising how past experiences, losses, and life transitions can shape emotional well-being, relationships, and patterns of coping. Her practice is client-centred, drawing from a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches tailored to each person's unique needs.
As a mother of three, Michelle has a special interest in supporting women as they navigate the many roles they hold — as mothers, daughters, spouses, and partners — and the transitions and demands that come with each season of life. She understands that these roles can be deeply meaningful while also bringing challenges such as identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, relationship adjustments, and the ongoing balancing of family, career, and personal well-being. She is passionate about creating a space where women feel seen, heard, and empowered amidst life’s many responsibilities.
Michelle believes that every person has the capacity for growth and healing when met with compassion, understanding, and a trusting therapeutic relationship. She views healing as a process of reconnecting with one's strengths, restoring hope, and discovering new possibilities for living a fulfilling life.
