Rose holds 15 years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy to youths and adults with psychological challenges. Her wide-range experience includes providing therapy for Trauma and complex trauma, which include childhood trauma, sexual trauma, medical trauma, violence and single-incident (acute) trauma. She also provides consultation for anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, personality disorder, phobias, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), identity crisis, performance enhancement, psychosis, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and CPTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Rose is a SAC Registered Clinical Supervisor and provides clinical supervision to professional counsellors and counselling students.

Rose's interest in mental health is motivated by her own traumatic experience. The years of being in the "valley of the shadow of darkness" also led to her interest in serving trauma survivors, especially those with difficulties moving past their traumatic experiences.

Rose's strength lies in her experience, genuine passion for conducting therapy, and vast knowledge of theoretical frameworks. Her approach to therapy is strength-based and trauma-informed. Rose customised her treatment to meet her client's unique needs by integrating EMDR or Brainspotting with Attachment Theory, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family System and Expressive Arts to enhance its effectiveness. She frequently invests in continuing professional education to help her serve her clients better.

Rose's unique ethnicity and previous experience in multiple industries, including advertising, tourism, and the F&B industry, helped her connect with people from diverse cultures and social backgrounds. She connects well with youth and adults and holds a special interest in working with Generation Z.

A firm believer in self-care, Rose enjoys cooking, socialising, brisk walking, artistic expression and power naps in her free time.
