Rose holds more than 13 years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy to youths and adults with psychological challenges. Her wide-range experience includes providing therapy for Trauma and complex trauma, which include childhood trauma, sexual trauma, medical trauma, and single-incident (acute) trauma. She also provides therapy for anxiety, depression, addiction, coping with changes, grief, personality disorder, phobias, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), identity formation, performance enhancement, psychosis and PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Rose is a SAC Registered Clinical Supervisor and provides clinical supervision to professional counsellors and counselling students.

Rose's interest in mental health was birthed through a traumatic experience that she suffered several years ago. The years of being in the "valley of the shadow of darkness" also led to her interest in serving trauma survivors, especially those with difficulties moving past their traumatic experiences.

Rose is passionate about her calling to help her clients. Her approach to therapy is strength-based and holistic, integrating Trauma-informed Therapy like EMDR and Brainspotting with expressive arts, sand tray and talks therapy. She customised her treatment approach to suit her client's individual and unique needs. She believes in lifelong learning and frequently invests in continuing professional education.

Rose's unique ethnicity and previous experience in multi-industry, which included working in advertising, tourism, and the F&B industry, help her connect with people from diverse cultures and social backgrounds. She serves local Singaporean, expatriates, international students and returnees.

A firm believer in self-care, Rose enjoys cooking, social gathering, brisk walking, painting and power naps in her free time.
