Victor ONG
Clinical Counsellor
P. Clinical Member (SAC)

Masters in Counselling
(Monash University)

Married with two daughters, Victor has rich experiences working with people from different strata of society. He worked in defence technology for many years before making a career transition to be an educator for mainstream schools, as well as with international students.

The Szechuan earthquake in 2008 awakened Victor's interest in serving foreign workers and the financially challenged through non-governmental organisations (NGOs). He observed that many need psychological healing and embarked on professional counselling studies to help others professionally. Victor volunteers extensively to serve refugees, asylum seekers and the financially challenged.

Victor counsels individual youth and adults on various issues, including anxiety, parenting, and building financial resilience. His interest in lifelong learning continues, and he is currently undergoing training in the Treatment of Complex Traumatic Stress Disorder.
