Winnie develops an interest in people helpers during her growing-up years. She used to live in a community fraught with the constant threat of physical danger and financial difficulty. However, it was many years later before she managed to make a foray into counselling.
Winnie has diverse corporate experience in multinational organisations and has worked closely with people from different strata of society. She made a career switch to serve full-time in a faith-based organisation, where she mentors youth and adults in their faith and personal lives.
Winnie counsels individuals with anxiety, depression, and addictions. She also helps her clients reexamine their lives and develop interpersonal skills and growth mindsets to navigate life challenges. Winnie is also passionate about helping older adults find meaning in their golden years, including finding ways to meet their yet-fulfilled dreams.
Winnie's approach to therapy is the integration of various modalities, including choice theory, CBT, and narrative therapy.
